The Beacon Talks #3 – We continue the “nominate a speaker” format. At The Beacon Talks we hear the story behind people who contribute so much to Swansea. Each speaker then nominates someone to talk at a future event, creating an ongoing stream of inspiration. We don’t just hear about the work, we hear about the person.
Confirmed March line-up includes:
Kim Willis (Stories.Dreams.Seeds/Where We Grow)
Part-time resident between Swansea and London, Kim is a storyteller with her first book “No Fair Maidens” published in June via Penguin/Doubleday Books. Established through working in government offices, a brief stint in New York with the UN, and a strategist for a FTSE100 company Kim has been on a transformational journey since landing in Wales finding connection through people, stories and the British landscape.
Phil Cheater (FineArt Phil)
Sign-writer and muralist Phil Cheater’s work is all over the public realm of Swansea. Phil has built a reputation as a go-to visual creator, but he had to start somewhere. Find out Phil’s story.
